On November 20, the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley accepted a donation from the Oneida Indian Nation’s SavOn and Maple Leaf Market convenience stores in the amount of $6,847. The donations poured in from customers throughout September and October as part of the YWCA’s purple ribbon campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The YWCA and Liberty Resources have been partners with the Oneida Indian Nation for several years with the purpose of empowering women and eliminating racism in our community.
