Maple Leaf Market Verona also features Turning Stone Grab & Go meals, directly from the kitchens of Turning Stone’s award-winning restaurants. Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (September 14, 2023) – The Oneida Indian Nation today announced the grand opening of its fourth – and largest – Maple Leaf Market store is set for tomorrow, September 15 at the intersection of Route 365 and Route 31 in Verona. Previously a SāvOn store, the transformation to Maple Leaf Market will elevate the guest experience even more. The new Maple Leaf Market store is celebrating its grand opening with food tastings, prizes, giveaways, raffles and more. The grand opening of Maple Leaf Market Verona also aligns with the upcoming opening of the nearby Upstate Cancer Center.
New Maple Leaf Market; New Guest Experience.
At 7,100 square feet, the new location in Verona is the Oneida Indian Nation’s largest convenience store and has expanded its unique offerings and amenities. The addition of an on-site kitchen provides guests with a selection of freshly-prepared meals, pizzas, Paninis, salads, soups and more, offered alongside food offerings from regional partners. Maple Leaf Market Verona also features Turning Stone Grab & Go meals, directly from the kitchens of Turning Stone’s award-winning restaurants, including Pino Bianco, Upstate Tavern, Tin Rooster, Emerald Restaurant and Peach Blossom.
Additionally, a new walk-in beer cave offers more than 75 different domestic and imported beers, including local brews, craft beer, and non-alcoholic options. Guests can also explore the in-store humidor and its collection of different cigars from around the world.
New Maple Leaf Market. Even More Convenient.
The new Maple Leaf Market also features additional checkout counters, including new self-serve kiosks, to provide faster guest service. The on-site Dunkin’ and its drive-through have also been updated for more optimized traffic flow. The Verona location will also feature a 24-hour diesel station that allows easier access for trucks. The diesel pumps are in addition to regular gasoline pumps.
Grand Opening Celebration: September 15 – 18, 2023
The grand opening festivities will kick-off tomorrow, September 15 and run through Monday, September 18. Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy complimentary food tastings, Dunkin’ coffee samples, gasoline discounts with TS Rewards signup, a chance to spin the Prize Wheel to instantly win a variety of prizes, and more.
Guests who use their TS Rewards card at the new Maple Leaf Market Verona September 15 – 18 will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win:
- Two concert tickets for an upcoming show at Turning Stone.

The Oneida Indian Nation’s first Maple Leaf Market opened in Sherrill in November 2017, followed by the Chittenango store in February 2018 and the Sylvan-Verona Beach location in May of the same year. Over the last six years, Maple Leaf Market has become synonymous with fresh, quality food and elevated grab-and-go options.
