MEMBER OUTREACH & ADVOCACY
The Oneida Indian Nation has created a new position to assist Nation Members interested in employment opportunities at the Nation.
The new Member Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator will be the first point of contact for Members inquiring about open positions within the Nation’s enterprises or government programs and services. Nation Members will be able to reach out to this individual and follow up with them for any status updates regarding their employment application.
The main purpose for creating this position is to help better connect our Members with job and vendor opportunities at the Nation. Appointing a Nation Member dedicated to this role means that Members will have someone to contact directly with questions on how to navigate the application process, and serve as their direct liaison to the Human Resources and Supply Chain departments. After submitting an employment application, Members can reach out the the Member Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator for status updates.
Derek Montroy (Turtle Clan) has been appointed to serve as the Member Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator. He will be accessible during the normal business hours by email, phone or social media via the Nation Facebook page. Keep an eye out on the Nation Member App for the latest opportunities and First Mondays job posts that highlight some lesser-known roles at the Nation.
