Netflix star and first female to win Last Comic Standing, Iliza Shlesinger will perform at Turning Stone on Friday, November 8, her only New York show.
Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (August 13, 2019) – Leading standup comedian and Netflix star Iliza Shlesinger will be making a stop at Turning Stone for her only New York show on Friday, November 8 at 8:00p.m.
In 2008, Shlesinger made history when she became the first woman to win Last Comic Standing. Shlesinger is one of today’s leading comedians with a fan base who show their loyalty by creating their own Iliza inspired swag to wear to her shows. Her past specials War Paint, Freezing Hot and Confirmed Kills have made her one of the top comedians working today.
Shlesinger’s stand-up credentials include headlining the coveted Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and The New York Comedy Festival. As a national headliner, Shlesinger tours internationally year-round selling out theatres and regularly takes part in USO tours to show her support of those who serve. Shlesinger has participated in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s personal USO Tour throughout the Middle East and Europe, as well as Al Roker’s Today Show USO Tour in Afghanistan.
In addition to her stand up, Shlesinger recently released her first book Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity and also hosts her own podcast Asl Iliza Anything. Fans can also see Shlesinger co-starring in the movie “Instant Family,” with Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne.
