“A dealer at Point Place Casino followed the detailed Oneida Indian Nation health protocols by staying home from work, and immediately reporting a family member had tested positive for COVID-19,” said Jerry Marrello, General Manager, Point Place Casino. “After testing positive herself, she was placed on sick leave and will not return until recovering fully and testing negative for at least two weeks, as certified by a note from her physician. The team member’s last day of work was on Friday, June 12, where she was asymptomatic and like all employees was temperature screened upon arrival and wore a face covering during her entire shift. As outlined in our internal operating procedures for responding to confirmed cases of COVID-19, we immediately notified Madison County officials and implemented a series of steps related to contact tracing. We are unaware of any other instances of anyone coming into contact with or contracting the virus at Point Place Casino. ”
