The well-being of our Members and community at-large remains our highest priority and our team acted quickly out of an abundance of caution.
It is important to note that critical Oneida Indian Nation government offices and programs remain accessible to Nation Members consistent with sound public health practices. This includes Oneida Indian Nation Health Services, the Elders Lunch Program and the Early Learning Center.
In an abundance of caution, however, the Shako:wi Cultural Center will be closed until further notice and all Cultural Center classes have been cancelled until further notice. These precautionary measures are being taken for the health interests of our Members and the community.
Also note: the Elders Bus Art Contest, sponsored by the Oneida Indian Nation Elders, has been POSTPONED until further notice.
